Emilie is a Registered Dietitian and Sports Dietitian. She graduated with Honours from Ryerson University’s School of Nutrition with a minor in Psychology and completed her Dietetic Internship Program at Grand River Hospital in 2013. Emilie has been involved in the world of Sports Nutrition for many years. She has worked for Can-Fit-Pro, provided presentations and grocery store tours for run clubs within the GTA, seminars for Crossfit athletes, as well as one-to-one consultations for both weight management and Sports Nutrition for performance. She also has experience working with individuals living with chronic illness such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. She is working towards her Certified Sports Nutritionist certification through ISSN as well as Certified Diabetes Educator.
Emilie has been involved in athletics for many years. After 15 years of competitive dancing, she went on to pursue long distance running for several years, and most recently Crossfit. In her spare time, Emilie enjoys creating healthy recipes that are appealing to foodies and athletes alike. Emilie believes that all foods fit within a healthy lifestyle, and that nutrition is the foundation to optimal health and wellness. She continues to expand her palate and expertise for food and nutrition by travelling the world and immersing herself in their culture.
