The Intermittent Fasting eating style has caught the attention of many healthcare professionals and the public but is it a fad? Well that really depends on how you look at it because it turns out there's quite a bit of research and science behind this! In fact the ESN Sports Dietitians have been using this eating style with our clients to help them achieve their goals. From getting athletes in shape for their competitive season to getting bodybuilders to drop their bodyfat percentages and maintaining muscles for a physique competition to helping the everyday person manage and maintain their weight; Intermittent Fasting has been able to help those clients out, but it's definitely not for everyone. So join us in the ESN Learning Center for Nutrition Professionals as we show you the practical strategies we use to help our clients meet their goals.


The following are the modules that will be explored in this 3-month online course


1.      The physiology of Intermittent Fasting
2.      The different types of intermittent fasting
3.      Nutritional strategies to make Intermittent Fasting optimize body composition change
4.      How to optimize Physical Activity for Intermittent Fasting
5.      Psychosocial considerations of Intermittent Fasting
6.      Transitioning out of Intermittent Fasting and Maintaining Results


So if you feel like you want to learn more about how this eating style, who it's more beneficial for, how to effectively support your client's choices and to add this to your varied arsenal of nutritional counselling strategies then register for this course!


The course will be hosted in a Google Classroom and Class begins June 13, 2018! Modules will be uploaded weekly on Wednesdays before Noon in the Eastern Time Zone! Discussion Boards, supplementary reading, quizzes and case studies will be offered to better enhance your understanding as well as your confidence in this eating style!
